The weather shows cool temperatures early in the week with evening lows in the mid-30s, 
daytime highs in the mid-50s warming up with daytime highs in the mid-60s and hitting 
the low 70s by Monday, December 9 with rain expected for Monday and Tuesday. The north 
areas of the state will be slightly cooler and rain is expected on Sunday through Tuesday.

The retail and holiday gift markets are about steady with a fair demand, while the domestic 
commercial buyers have tapered off and are purchasing from outside sources. Prices remain 
about steady, while growers are finishing up in Georgia quickly and should be done before 
Christmas break.

A few Blends made it to the market. Small lots of Blends with (65-70 nut count) 46-47% meat 
yield sold in a range of about $3.20-3.26 per point. Stuart Blends with (44-50 nut count) 
46-48% meat yield sold in a range of about $3.96-4.65 per point and other Blends (low to 
mid 40s nut count) 48-54% meat yield sold in a range of about $4.41-4.45 per point. Larger 
lots of Blends mostly of Stuarts (mid 40s nut count) 47-54% meat yield sold in a range of 
about $4.30-4.58 per point.

Prices paid to growers (late afternoon November 26, 2019 through late afternoon December 3, 
2019) at buyers delivery point or F.O.B. the orchard including direct sales to end users, 
cents per pound in-shell of generally good quality in lots of 20,000 pounds or less unless 
otherwise stated.
